Born in Columbus, Ohio,
Lindsay started acting in high school and continued to study the craft at Miami
University of Ohio. At Miami, Lindsay was given the opportunity to play amazing
characters such as Gertrude Stein in Gertrude Stein and An Companion, the Mother in Machinal and Mrs. Drudge in The Real Inspector Hound for which she received a nomination for the
prestigious Irene Ryan National Acting Award. In her summer breaks, Lindsay
studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and at
Barter, the State Theatre of Virginia.
After Graduating with a B.F.A
in Theatre Performance, Lindsay moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film
and television. Almost a year later, she was cast as Christine Banks in Fox’s
hit show “Boston Public”. After four episodes, David E. Kelley submitted
Lindsay for Emmy consideration in the category of Outstanding Guest Star. This
lead to numerous other Guest Appearance on such shows as “ER”, “Strong
Medicine”, “Any Day Now”, “Popular”, and the opportunity to originate the
character of Susan Adamson on NBC’s popular daytime series “Days of Our Lives”.
Since then, Lindsay has continued to Guest Star in Television having gained
most recognition from her roles on “Nip/Tuck”, “Law and Order: SVU”, “Joan of
Arcadia”, “Big Love”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Scrubs”, “My Name is Earl”, and
“Cold Case”.
Recently, Lindsay has been
seen with the lead role in the indie film “From Bubba With Love”, and
controversial director Uwe Boll’s latest film, “Postal”. She can also be seen
in Mekhi Phifer’s directorial debut film, “Puff, Puff, Pass” and the comedy
“Bachelor Party Vegas”.
Last summer, Lindsay appeared
opposite Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway in Warner Brothers hit film, “Get
Smart”, in the now infamous dance scene.
